Central Catholic High School sits on a 65-acre campus, educating students with a strong college preparatory curriculum. Approximately 98% of each graduating class attends college. Last year colleges and universities offered 161 Central Catholic graduates $7.3 Million in scholarships.
The academic offerings are enhanced through a competitive athletic program, a music program including both band and choir, a drama department, and our campus ministry programs.
Principal Rev. Robert W. Kaylor heads a faculty of 44 members, who dedicate themselves to Central Catholic both in and out of the classroom, providing leadership in athletic and extra-curricular activities
Central Catholic was formed in 1946 when the Diocese of Youngstown merged Mount Marie Academy (founded in 1907) and St. John High School (founded in 1925).
Central Catholic is owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, and welcomes both Catholic and non-Catholic students.
